MYLES' 6TH BIRTHDAY!!!

MYLES' 6TH BIRTHDAY WAS ON MAY 4TH. HE HAD BEEN COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS STARTING WAY BACK IN APRIL. WHEN MASON'S B-DAY ARRIVED, HE KNEW HIS WAS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. OUR MONTHS OF APRIL AND MAY ARE VERY, VERY BUSY. WITH MASON GETTING BAPTIZED THIS YEAR IT MADE IT EVEN BUSIER! THINGS ARE SLOWLY WINDING DOWN....

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT MYLES...
-HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTS AND HE IS PRETTY PERSISTENT ABOUT IT
-HE FORGETS NOTHING (don't make him a promise unless you plan on following through)
-HE IS BY FAR AND BEYOND THE MOST MILD MANNERED OUT OF ALL MY KIDS!!!!:)))
-HE IS VERY GIVING
-HE HAS A VERY ACTIVE IMAGINATION
-HE LOVES PEOPLE AND IS SO NICE TO OTHERS
-HE IS VERY GRATEFUL AND WILL TELL YOU OVER AND OVER THANK-YOU
-HE LOVES ANIMALS
-HE LOVES TO COLLECT
-HE IS SO EASY TO BE WITH AND JUST ENJOYS CHILLING OUT AND RELAXING ONCE IN AWHILE, WHICH IS GREAT
-HE DOES SO WELL IN SCHOOL AND HE IS VERY KIND TO ALL THE KIDS IN HIS CLASS

THESE ARE ONLY A FEW REASONS WHY WE LOVE OUR MYMY.... I COULD SERIOUSLY ADD ON AND ON TO THIS LIST. HE IS JUST OVER ALL A GREAT BOY!! WE LOVE HIM VERY MUCH.

THIS IS HOW HIS DAY WENT:
Woke up
Had a bath
Ate breakfast (waffles with candle)
Sang Happy B-day
Opened Presents
Went off to Kindergarten
I took in treats to his class
Met cousins, aunts, and Grandparents at Carl's Jr. (Sofie's B-day too)
Went and got him a bunch of balloons
Played soccer that night ( He scored a whopping 7 goals!!!)
Went out to eat at his choice--OLIVE GARDEN
He was zonked by the time we made it home!!

MYLES HAD A GREAT 6TH BIRTHDAY! HE HAD A FUN-FILLED BUSY BUSY DAY. HIS FUN CONTINUES FRIDAY AS HE GETS TO GO TO TARGET AND SPEND HIS huge GIFTCARD GIVEN TO HIM FROM GRANDPARENTS, AUNTS, UNCLES, AND COUSINS!!! LOVE YOU, MYMY..............

Mason's Baptism

On Saturday, May 1st,2010,@10am Mason was baptized/confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was the only one of our ward, but they do them as a stake and there were a total of 11 that day. Mason was baptized and confirmed by his dad. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus were smiling down upon Mason that day and were so proud of him for making such a great decision. We were so proud of him too! He is such a great kid!

I wish I would of gotten a few photos of the family that attended the baptism and luncheon at our house afterward, but I didnt. So to keep record on this blog I wanted to jot the names down of all that came to share this special day with him..
He had both sets of grandparents, Aunt Denise, Aunt Paula, cousins Maddox & Noelle, Aunt & Uncle Meredith & Nick, cousins, Kemry, Sofie, & Hawk, Aunt & Uncle Roxane & Shawn, cousins, Max, Abby, & Alia, Bishop Christofferson, Counselor Smith, Home Teacher, and of course, Ron, Trudy, Myles, & Maggie.

Easter 2010 St. George

So I wanted to post on our Easter in St. George. We had a great time and were lucky enough to go with the Rosenvalls (my sister and bro-in-law and kiddies). We spent our time swimming and soaking up the much needed sunlight, shopping, golfing (for the guys and Mas), eating, and just letting the kids enjoy spending time together. The weather wasn't incredibly hot, but we were able to get a nice tan. The Easter Bunny found the kids at the hotel and left some fun Easterly items for them. We also decided to take our kids out Easter egg rolling which was something new for them. We found a not so great hill, but it worked and they had fun in this new adventure. Here are a few pics of some of the events.

Mason Turned 8!!!!!!!

So Mr. Mason turned 8! I can't believe he is that old... Really time has went by quickly in some ways and in other ways it hasn't. Big things are happening to him now that he is 8. He is being baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Saturday, May 1st, 2010. He is so excited and we couldn't be prouder of him! Another thing that he now gets to do is scouts. He is very excited about this and has already started working on passing things off.

Mas went to school all day and came home to find a bunch of balloons awaiting for him. He normally plays soccer on Tuesday night, but didn't have a game but we went and watched his little bro's game. After the game we headed to Mason's favorite place to eat, Thai Chili Garden. I know, I know.... No Chucky Cheese requests from my kids which I am very grateful for. He got to have a great dinner with some of his cousins, aunts/uncles, and grandparents. Mason got a new Nintendo DSLite XL with some games, new baseball glove, jammies, Book of Mormon/Bible combo set, remote control Morphibian, and a nice gift card to Target. He cannot wait to go spend that! All in all he had a great bday and his partying continues on this week leading up to his Special Day. Love you Mason. Hope your 8th was a fantastic one!!
